Tran Bui Bao Khanh won the Road to Olympia 2025
Students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted won the laurel wreath after 15 years of waiting, bringing home a meaningful victory on the occasion of the school's 40th anniversary.
Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, has officially become the champion of the 25th Road to Olympia competition. In the final match that took place on the morning of October 26, Bao Khanh won 215 points, bringing home the prestigious laurel wreath after 15 years of waiting for his school.
Excellent "Finish" performance determined the Champion title
Tran Bui Bao Khanh's victory was decided by the dramatic "Finish" round. He answered all the 20-30-20 point questions correctly, thereby breaking through and winning the highest position. Bao Khanh's performance was considered very stable throughout the Olympia 2025 journey, when he continuously came in first in the Weekly (250 points), Monthly (295 points) and Quarterly (270 points) rounds.

This achievement is not only a personal pride but also a special and meaningful gift for the teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, right on the occasion of the school's 40th anniversary.
Festival atmosphere at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel bridge
At the Hanoi bridge located at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, teachers and students of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted created a vibrant atmosphere with a special parade called "The laurel wreath procession to Hanoi with mountain climber Tran Bui Bao Khanh".

The event was attended by teachers and students, with many performances and colorful parades. The atmosphere at the venue exploded with emotion when Tran Bui Bao Khanh was named for the highest position.

Pride burst after 15 years
Sharing her joy, Ms. Tran Thuy Duong, Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, could not hide her emotion: "Not just me, I think that 3,000 students, 6,000 parents and all former students of Ams school nationwide who are following this program are extremely proud. Bao Khanh has shown that the Ams spirit and Ams courage are always present everywhere."

Ms. Duong said the school will hold a special event to celebrate Bao Khanh's victory, while also looking forward to the school's 40th anniversary. "We hope that this achievement of his will contribute to spreading the learning message to every student of the school," she said.
Not only teachers, but also parents lived in moments of excitement and pride. Mr. Phung Xuan Binh, Head of the Parents' Association of Grade 11 Math 2 students, shared: "Seeing my child standing on the stage, mature, calm and shining in his own way, made me really touched and happy."
A surprise spiritual gift that the school prepared for Bao Khanh was the appearance of three teachers who taught him in Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary School, who accompanied and nurtured his passion for knowledge from the very beginning.
