Fishing boat capsizes on Lam River, wife escapes, husband missing
While fishing on the Lam River, TVH and his wife's boat capsized. The wife was fortunately rescued, but Mr. H is still missing.
Information from the local government of Bich Hao commune said that this morning (November 4), while fishing on Lam River through Bich Hao commune (bordering Van An commune), the boat of Mr. TVH (born in 1967), residing in Giang Tien hamlet (old Thanh Giang commune), now Bich Hao commune, unfortunately capsized, causing both husband and wife to fall into the river.
Ms. NTL (born 1972, Mr. H.'s wife) was later luckily rescued by nearby fishermen and brought to shore. Mr. H. went missing.
After receiving the news, the authorities and people in Bich Hao commune quickly arrived to organize the search and rescue. However, due to the rising water level of Lam River in recent days, the search was difficult.
Currently, the search scope is being further expanded.
