Fishing boat capsizes on Lam River, wife escapes, husband missing.
While fishing on the Lam River, the boat carrying Mr. TVH and his wife unfortunately capsized. The wife was fortunately rescued, but Mr. H is still missing.
According to information from the local authorities of Bich Hao commune, this morning (November 4th), while fishing on the Lam River section passing through Bich Hao commune (bordering Van An commune), the boat of Mr. TVH (born in 1967) and his wife, residing in Giang Tien hamlet (formerly Thanh Giang commune), now Bich Hao commune, unfortunately capsized, causing both husband and wife to fall into the river.
Ms. NTL (born in 1972, wife of Mr. H.) was fortunately rescued by local fishermen nearby and brought ashore. Mr. H., however, went missing.
Upon receiving the report, authorities and local residents in Bich Hao commune quickly arrived to organize a search and rescue operation. However, due to the high water level of the Lam River in recent days, the search has been very difficult.
Currently, the search scope is being continuously expanded.
