Phan Nhu Thao: Will return all real estate if divorced
The former model confirmed that she was only "keeping" the assets for her husband, tycoon Duc An, and was confident in her business ability to take care of the family even when her husband was in trouble.
Former model Phan Nhu Thao affirmed that she does not consider valuable gifts such as real estate given by her husband, tycoon Duc An, as personal property. She said she is willing to return everything if their marriage ends, and at the same time expressed confidence in her ability to be financially independent.
Clear view of assets
In a recent post, Phan Nhu Thao said she always has a clear view on property in marriage. "I used to think that if the time came when my husband and I could no longer live together, or one of us had a new lover, I would return the 'gift' to my husband," she said. For her, being given valuable real estate by her husband or having him put his name on it only meant "keeping it for her", and she had no intention of fighting over it if they no longer lived together.
This view stems from her independence and ability to earn money. The former model does not want to depend on her husband's assets and always strives to build her own career.
Business journey and husband's companionship
Instead of settling for a comfortable life, Phan Nhu Thao decided to venture into business. She said it was tycoon Duc An who taught her a lot about money and financial management. "If you want to do something, use your own money and know how to regret it," is what her husband said that she always remembers.
Although he initially objected because he was worried that his wife would have a hard time, her husband still became a strong supporter, even working as her accountant in the early days of starting a business. Mr. Duc An commented that his wife is "courageous" and "stubborn", because once she is determined, she will do it.
Phan Nhu Thao admits that there are conflicts in the couple's views. Her husband wants his wife to have her own values, not to rely on men, but when she focuses too much on work, he complains. However, she thinks this is understandable and the two always talk frankly to find a balance.
Balance between career and family
To fully devote herself to her career, Phan Nhu Thao and her husband made a 5-year "agreement". During this time, she will focus on business, while tycoon Duc An will be the main person in charge of taking care of the family and daughter Bo Cau. She understands that a woman's responsibility is family, but she also needs to create her own value.
"I am happy when I can take care of my family, I feel confident because I create value that is recognized by my husband, children and society," she shared. Whenever her husband gently "reminds" her to spend time with her family, she will adjust her work to have more moments with her husband and children.
100 billion target and future plans
Phan Nhu Thao once set a goal of earning 100 billion VND before the age of 35 to retire, and she said that this number has not yet come true. "People see that I have a lot of real estate or a lot of money, but it all belongs to my husband. The 100 billion I said is the amount of money I earned myself," she said frankly. She also affirmed that even though she has not earned that much money, she is still confident that she can take care of her husband if he unfortunately encounters financial difficulties.
Regarding future plans, the couple plans to send their daughter to study abroad in Australia or England when she enters secondary school. After that, they will find a small island in Europe, open a coffee shop or sell cakes to enjoy their old age. Regarding an official wedding, Phan Nhu Thao said she does not put too much emphasis on this issue because the two are already legally married and are living happily.
