Temporarily detain the husband of singer Doan Di Bang
Dong Nai Province Police temporarily detained Nguyen Quoc Vu - singer Doan Di Bang's husband and two accomplices for their involvement in a ring producing and trading fake sunscreen.
On November 5, Dong Nai Provincial Police said that the unit had issued an arrest warrant and a search warrant for three suspects: Dinh Van Lien (born in 1981, residing in Long Binh ward), Nguyen Thi Tuyen (born in 1982, residing in Tam Hiep ward) and Nguyen Quoc Vu (born in 1978, residing in Tan Thuan ward, Ho Chi Minh City) to investigate the act of "Production and trade of counterfeit goods" occurred at EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company.
The above decisions have been approved by the People's Procuracy at the same level.

According to the initial investigation, EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (located in Giang Dien Industrial Park, Dong Nai Province) with Lien as Deputy General Director but in fact is the owner. This enterprise cooperates with VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (headquartered on Nguyen Trai Street, Ho Chi Minh City) with Vu - husband of singer Doan Di Bang as General Director to produce Hanayuki Sunscreen Body sunscreen products.
Since January 2025, Lien has directed the production and sale of 1,652 fake Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products. The appraisal conclusion of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Criminal Science shows that the product's SPF is only 25.82, equivalent to 51.64% of the index stated on the packaging (SPF 50).
In addition, Tuyen, the company's Deputy General Director, produced 1,652 fake Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products. Meanwhile, Vu traded fake Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products.

The investigation agency determined that the actions of the three defendants constituted the crime of "Producing and trading in counterfeit goods".
During the investigation, the suspects initially confessed to their crimes. During the investigation, the police seized many machines, documents and means related to the production and sale of counterfeit products related to the above case.
