According to the regulations, the tournament is scheduled to take place from June 6-14, 2026. The delegates thoroughly discussed matters related to organization, registration, athlete verification, competition venues, opening and closing ceremonies, and security and safety plans for the tournament.

Given the two-tiered local government structure and the province's 130 communes and wards, organizing this year's competition presents new challenges in terms of coordination, task assignment, mobilization of resources, and preparation for participation from local authorities.

The delegates unanimously agreed on the need to finalize the plan for coordinating the organization of the tournament as soon as possible; clearly assign responsibilities to each relevant agency and unit; and establish specialized subcommittees to implement specific tasks.
At the same time, it is necessary to send written requests to local Party committees and authorities to direct and supervise the selection, training, and preparation of participating forces, while promoting the core role of grassroots talent classes.

In addition, communication efforts need to be intensified to spread the significance of the tournament and create an enthusiastic atmosphere among young people and the general public.
Another key topic discussed at the meeting was the plan to organize the "Search for Talents in Nghe Tinh Folk Songs" competition in Nghe An province in 2026. The competition aims to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the value of folk songs and dances.folk song heritage; encouraging the younger generation to continue preserving and spreading love for the unique traditional art forms of their homeland, Nghe An province.
According to the draft plan, contestants will perform solo and duet singing, using folk melodies from Nghe An province, including original and adapted versions.
The competition is expected to be held through preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals, and an awards ceremony; combining the submission of entries and videos with judging by an art council and voting on digital platforms.

During the meeting, many opinions suggested that the competition should be organized in a way that ensures both artistic quality and widespread impact within the community, especially among young people. Some suggested areas for improvement included researching the possibility of group performances, reviewing the age range of contestants to align with the "talent search" criteria, selecting a venue for the final round with greater potential for wider reach, and consulting with artists and experts to standardize the scope of entries, performance costumes, and staging methods.
The leaders of the two units emphasized that future collaborative activities need to be well-prepared and thorough, leveraging the strengths of each side. Specifically, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will play a professional role in state management of culture and sports; while Nghe An's newspapers, radio, and television will leverage their strengths in media, program production, and disseminating information through radio, television, print, online, and digital platforms.
