Nghe An: Highlights of August 9th

* Today (August 9th), the first extraordinary session of the 16th National Assembly enters its 7th day of work.Discussing draft lawsDiscussions were held on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam, the Law on Anti-Money Laundering, and the Law on Credit Institutions; and on the draft Law on Dissemination and Education of Law (amended).
The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued Plan No. 717/KH-UBND on the implementation.Urban renovation projectTruong Vinh, Thanh Vinh, Vinh Loc, Vinh Hung, Vinh Phu and Cua Lo wards in the period 2026 - 2030.
* In the first 7 months of 2026, Nghe An continued to promoteimproving the investment environmentWith a spirit of putting people and businesses at the center, and through a series of decisive solutions to remove "bottlenecks" in procedures, land, and infrastructure, the province has not only strengthened the confidence of investors but also strongly attracted new capital flows, further boosting socio-economic growth.
*Working overtime and extra shifts through the night on the construction site.Construction is underway on the integrated primary and secondary boarding school project in Nghe An. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, construction teams are mobilizing maximum manpower, working overtime and extra shifts to ensure the project progresses according to schedule.
* Immediately after the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued the decision to establish Tran Quoc Hoan High School, on the morning of August 9th, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training held a working session with the school to orient its activities and prepare the necessary conditions for the 2026-2027 school year.

* On the morning of August 9th, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An Province, the Central Youth Union Council, in coordination with the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center and other relevant units, organized an event."Vietnamese Children's Day - Creative Learning", with the participation of nearly 2,000 children.
