The role of trade unions in building Party organizations of private enterprises in Nghi Loc

Define a clear “roadmap”

Up to now, the organization has beenParty in business, especially private enterprises, are always considered a "difficult problem" that is not easy to solve. In Nghi Loc district, clearly recognizing the role of the Trade Union in developing Party members, the District Labor Federation has set goals and clearly defined a roadmap for this task.

Mr. Hoang Van Trung - Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District Labor Federation shared: "In the district, union members are admitted to the Party mainly in grassroots trade unions in the State administrative sector, and enterprises in the non-State economic sector do not have grassroots Party organizations. To carry out this task, the District Labor Federation has concretized the directive documents of Project 5155 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Project 05 of the District Party Committee Standing Committee in many ways."

Accordingly, the Nghi Loc District Labor Federation has deployed and thoroughly disseminated the Party's directives and resolutions on the work of developing Party members and establishing grassroots Party organizations to grassroots Trade Unions and all cadres, union members, workers, civil servants and laborers, in order to raise awareness and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in participating in Party building and building the political system. In addition, the District Labor Union has also innovated and improved the effectiveness of propaganda, education, ideology, politics and working class nature for cadres, union members, workers, civil servants and laborers, thereby fostering the Party's ideals for cadres, union members, workers, civil servants and laborers.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation regularly meets with business owners and workers to propagate the Party's policies and guidelines, helping to raise awareness and enlightenment of the Party's ideals so that they can voluntarily join the Party.

For many consecutive years, through emulation movements in labor, production, and work with specific and practical contents, Nghi Loc District Trade Union has created opportunities and an ideal environment for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to strive, practice, and promote their capacity and strengths in work... Thereby, discovering typical factors in the movements to introduce to the Party organization for consideration and admission.

Responsibility to the end

A year ago, while sharing about the aspirations of union members and workers, Mr. Bui Van Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Thien Phu Packaging Factory pondered: "From the consultation and mobilization of the staff of the Nghi Loc District Labor Federation, we earnestly want to establish a Party cell at our enterprise. With the leadership,Party direction, our business will certainly have more advantages, and our voice will also have more weight. With many exemplary individuals with good moral qualities, we believe that our Party cell will be strong. However, in reality, many shortcomings and objective difficulties make this aspiration still impossible to realize."

The difficulties that Mr. Hung mentioned have been resolved. On October 25, 2022, at the Nghi Loc District Political Center, 23/40 students attending the 8th Party Awareness Training Course in 2022 were union members and employees of the Thien Phu Packaging Factory Trade Union. It is known that all 40 students are cadres, workers and employees at enterprises who have been helped and trained by the District Labor Federation officials on the Party's guidelines and policies, have a strong desire to join the Party and were introduced to attend the class by the District Labor Federation. Right in the class, the students were also honored to receive an encouragement gift of uniforms from the trade union organization.

In the joy of the upcoming establishment of a Party organization at the factory, and the upcoming addition of Party members to the staff, Mr. Bui Van Hung shared: “To achieve this result, we cannot fail to mention the important role of the Nghi Loc District Labor Federation. Understanding and grasping the situation of union members and workers, the District Labor Union has repeatedly advised and proposed to the Party Committee, authorities, and specialized union officials to go to the units to grasp the situation of party members, the thoughts and aspirations of workers, and work with business leaders. One of the most important factors of the class is the time of organization. Because the 23 union members participating are all key personnel of the factory, if they all go to school at the same time, it means that the factory has to stop production, which is impossible. To solve this problem, the Labor Union has now connected with business leaders and the school to advise, coordinate, and build a schedule that is suitable for both the school and the units. This is something that I am very grateful for. If the organization If the union does not go all the way, but only stops at calling and shouting, the class will not be able to overcome this difficulty.

As one of 23 workers of Thien Phu Packaging Factory to attend this course, Mr. Nguyen Chu Danh excitedly said: “For me, the workers who attended the course, this is a recognition from the company's leadership and the union members for their dedication and contributions over the past time. As a member of the factory's Union Executive Committee, I need to be a pioneer and strive to be worthy of the role of a Party member. I also believe that after establishing a Party organization at the enterprise, the factory will have further development.”

Be admitted to the Party ranks through the connection and support ofunion organization, Ms. Le Thi Dao - Head of Nghi Lam Garment Company shared: "Since participating in the class, most of the brothers and sisters have had changes in their awareness and actions, the pioneering and exemplary nature of party members is always demonstrated in work as well as in life, always ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks, the influence of the qualities of party members is clearly evident in every gesture and action...".

“We will start by mobilizing the cadres and workers who play an important role in the unit first, and at the same time, work with the business leadership team. The mobilizations will not always go smoothly, there will be units that take months, even years to convince. The important thing is that the District Labor Federation must be persistent enough to convince and do it to the end. Currently, we are striving to achieve the target of establishing 2 new Party cells this year” – said Mr. Hoang Van Trung - Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District Labor Federation.
