Multiple-vehicle accident causes traffic congestion on N5 road.
(Baonghean.vn) - A multi-vehicle traffic accident involving three cars caused a long traffic jam on the N5 road section passing through Nghi Kieu commune (Nghi Loc district).
At approximately 7:00 AM this morning (November 22nd), an accident occurred on the N5 road section passing through Nghi Kieu commune bordering Nghi Lam commune (Nghi Loc district).traffic accidentA chain collision involving three vehicles, including two trucks and one passenger car.
As a result, one small truck had its cargo bed completely destroyed, and the large truck overturned into a field. The driver sustained serious injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in this accident.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien, Chairman of the Nghi Kieu Commune People's Committee, said: "The accident occurred in the morning, at a time when traffic on this road is heavy, causing a long traffic jam. Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities were present at the scene to take the injured to the hospital and resolve related issues."
Police from Nghi Loc district, Nghi Kieu commune police, and other local authorities were present to examine the scene and direct traffic on this road.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
