Multiple accidents cause congestion on N5 road
(Baonghean.vn) - A traffic accident involving 3 cars caused traffic on Highway N5 through Nghi Kieu Commune (Nghi Loc) to be congested for a long period of time.
At around 7am this morning (November 22), on Highway N5, through Nghi Kieu Commune bordering Nghi Lam Commune (in Nghi Loc District), an accident occurred.traffic accident3 cars in series, including 2 trucks and 1 car.
The consequences caused a small truck to have its bed crushed, a large truck to flip over in the field, the driver was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room in time. Fortunately, there were no fatalities in this accident.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien - Chairman of Nghi Kieu Commune People's Committee said: The accident happened in the morning, at this time the traffic on this road was heavy, causing a long traffic jam. Immediately after receiving the information, local authorities were also present at the scene to take the injured to the emergency room and resolve related issues.
Nghi Loc District Police, Nghi Kieu Commune Police and local authorities were present to investigate the scene and direct traffic through this route.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
