Today, July 20, the 15th day of the 6th month of the year of the Dragon, the people of the whole country still cannot hide their grief and loss at the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong - an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his entire life to the country and the people. Also today, our Party and State issued a special announcement on the State funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Accordingly, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front decided to hold the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong with the national funeral rites.

Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong's coffin lies at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.
The funeral of comrade Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, starting from 07:00 to 22:00 on July 25, 2024 and from 07:00 to 13:00 on July 26, 2024.
The memorial service for comrade Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 26, 2024 at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi.
Funeral at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi city.
