Military Region 4 Command congratulates Vinh Diocese on Christmas

Military Region Command 4 highly appreciated the contributions and encouragement of the Bishop and priests, the Pastoral Council of parishes, sub-parishes and Catholics in Vinh Diocese, who have successfully carried out patriotic emulation movements, helped each other develop socio-economy, eradicate hunger and reduce poverty, prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, build advanced parishes and sub-parishes, and exemplary Catholic families.

The Military Region 4 Command hopes that the Bishop and priests, the Pastoral Councils of parishes and sub-parishes will continue to mobilize the people in the Diocese to well implement the Party's guidelines, policies and the State's laws; promote the tradition of patriotism, solidarity and companionship with the nation, and live a "good life and good religion". Actively participate in patriotic emulation movements; social activities and humanitarian charity activities, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, contributing to the construction and socio-economic development of localities in the Diocese.
Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long thanked the Military Region 4 Command for their attention, visit, and congratulations to the Bishop's House on the occasion of Christmas, and congratulated the officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army in general and the armed forces of Military Region 4 in particular on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.
The Bishop of Vinh Diocese affirmed that Catholics, and Vinh Diocese in particular, always remember the contributions and sacrifices of the Vietnam People's Army and the armed forces of Military Region 4 for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, protecting the peaceful life of the people.
