Leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police congratulate Vinh Diocese on Christmas
The working delegation of Nghe An Provincial Police led by Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department came to present flowers and congratulate the Vinh Diocese Bishop's House on the occasion of Christmas 2024 and preparation for the New Year 2025.
Also attending were Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, representatives of leaders of departments under the Provincial Police.
Receiving the delegation on the afternoon of December 16 were Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long - Bishop of Vinh Diocese; Auxiliary Bishop Peter Nguyen Van Vien and priests and religious.
In the joyful atmosphere of Christmas 2024 and preparation for the New Year 2025, on behalf of the Nghe An Police delegation, Major General Bui Quang Thanh sent warm wishes, peace, happiness, and full of God's grace to Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long and other dignitaries, officials, and all Catholics in the province.
At the same time, Major General Bui Quang Thanh informed about some outstanding results of the province's socio-economic situation in recent times. In particular, officers and soldiers of Nghe An Provincial Police have strived to excellently fulfill their tasks, protecting the peaceful life of the people. He affirmed that to achieve these results, it is thanks to the great efforts of all levels, sectors and people of all walks of life in the province, including the important contribution of Catholic compatriots.
Expressing his gratitude to Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long, priests, and Catholics in the area for joining hands and working together for the development of the province, the Director of the Provincial Police Department expressed his hope that the Vinh Diocese and Catholics will continue to support and accompany the Party Committee and government, and join hands with the people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies; contributing to building the homeland and country increasingly prosperous.
