Sharing about this, Le Duc Truong said: 2 years ago, I was the only one in the whole school who chose to join the army. I myself also determined that, although the time was not long, the military environment would be the environment for me to train and mature. I was also very happy, because before the day of leaving the army, we were able to directly participate in the "Career Counseling, Vocational Education and Job Introduction" festival. This is an opportunity for me to have more choices for myself in the future.

After leaving the army, Le Duc Truong decided to go to work abroad. To be sure when going to work abroad, he went to the booth ofVocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defenseand ask for advice to learn to drive. I have been advised very carefully by the teachers at school and I have applied to study at the school. For now, I will learn to drive, because this is a job that is quite easy to apply for in the country. If I go to work abroad, I can convert my license and hope to have more opportunities to work abroad.

On the morning of January 4 alone, hundreds of young soldiers came to the booth of Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense to ask for advice and introduction to training programs, jobs and labor export. To promptly support the soldiers, in addition to preparing leaflets, posters, and introducing training models in some faculties and majors, the school also sent a team of consultants to directly advise each specific case.

Ms. Pham Thi Huyen - school consultant said: We have introduced 14 training majors of the school and labor export. In the case of demobilized soldiers, students will be completely exempted from vocational training fees and receive an additional support of 30,000 VND per day. Previously, in 2024, out of nearly 100 registered students, 34 people completed the program, were recruited and are preparing to leave the country.

In addition, there are preferential policies of the Party and State for demobilized soldiers. Specifically, according to Decree 61/2015/ND-CP, young people who have completed their military service are supported with elementary vocational training by being granted a vocational training card with a maximum value of 12 months of basic salary at the time of vocational training and valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

After completing military service, each soldier will be issued a vocational training card, however, not everyone knows the meaning and value that the vocational training card can bring to the comrade whose name is written on it. The demobilized soldier vocational training card, as its name suggests, is a specific policy of the Party, State, and army for comrades who have completed military service. The demobilized soldier vocational training card is not specifically valued at how much money. However, it can be implicitly valued through the value of the courses at each center and each vocational school.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Thanh Long - Director of the joint training facility - Vocational College No. 4

In addition, the vocational training program has advantages such as a short training period, only from 6 to 9 months, enjoying the regimes and policies of the State and the Army, having the opportunity to study to improve qualifications, shortening the training time, being able to combine foreign language learning, and participating in labor export. During the learning and internship process at the enterprise, you can be paid from 7 to 10 million VND.
