Provincial leaders attended and directed the congresses of delegates from communes and wards; the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to hear and give opinions on the Draft Project "Comprehensive Cooperation between Nghe An Province and the provinces of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in the period 2025-2030"; and a conference to implement the 2025 winter crop production… These were some of the highlights of August 18th.

* Today, August 18th,Truong Vinh Ward Party CommitteeThe first Party Congress of Truong Vinh Ward, for the term 2025-2030, was solemnly held.

Attending the Congress was Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.

Attending and directing the Congress was Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

* On the afternoon of August 18th, the Party Committee of Nam Dan commune solemnly held its first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development". Comrade Bui Dinh Long, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended and delivered a speech guiding the congress.

* On the same day, Nghe An province solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the provincial armed forces and to receive the First Class Order of National Defense. General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Political Bureau, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - sent a congratulatory letter.
