Many outstanding results in the term 2020 - 2025

The Van Hien Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging and consolidating the Party Committees of 5 communes: Hoa Son, Tan Son, Thai Son, Quang Son, Thuong Son, formerly belonging to Do Luong district. The Party Committee has a total of 1,748 members, operating in 55 affiliated Party organizations.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committees of the 5 communes before the merger and Van Hien commune focused on innovating leadership methods, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization along with improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

Thanks to that, the locality has achieved many positive and comprehensive results in all fields. The average economic growth rate in the period of 2021 - 2025 reached 11%/year. The total product value in 2025 is estimated at 3,122.3 billion VND.

Average income per capita in 2025 is estimated to reach 87.6 million VND/year (an increase of 37.6 million VND compared to the beginning of the term). The economic structure is shifting in the right direction; infrastructure is invested in and upgraded in a synchronous manner.

The new rural program was focused on by the entire political system. By the end of the term, all 5 communes before the merger had achieved and maintained the new rural criteria; of which 3 units achieved the advanced new rural standards and 1 commune achieved the model new rural standards in terms of culture.

There has been much progress in the cultural and social fields. In Van Hien commune, there are 11 schools that meet national standards; of which 7 schools meet level II standards and 4 schools meet level I standards.

The cultural and sports movement has developed extensively, with 28/33 hamlets, 22 clans and 20 agencies achieving the title of cultural unit; 33/33 hamlets have sports grounds and 20/33 hamlets have outdoor sports equipment...

National defense and security are enhanced and consolidated, social order and safety are maintained, creating a stable environment and promoting development.

In the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development", the congress set out the common goals for the next term: Building Van Hien commune to develop comprehensively by 2030, shifting the economic structure towards sustainability; improving people's income and living standards to reach the province's average level; focusing on cultural and social development, environmental protection, promoting traditional cultural values; maintaining national defense and security, stabilizing social order and safety; consolidating the great national unity bloc, ensuring social security; the Party organization and political system are strong, meeting development requirements in the new period.

The Congress set out 32 targets; 3 groups of key tasks and solutions; 3 breakthroughs and 7 key projects and works to focus on leadership and direction in the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress approved the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee of the Van Hien Commune Party Committee, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 29 comrades and the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee consisting of 11 comrades.

Comrade Nguyen Tat Hoai Hiep - Chairman of the People's Council of the commune was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; 2 comrades Nguyen Trong Hoi andTran Van Hien holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Bringing Culture to rapid and sustainable development, towards urban development

Speaking at the congress, on behalf of the provincial working group, comrade Ho Le Ngoc - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of the 5 communes before the merger and Van Hien commune at present, creating an important premise for successfully implementing the goals and tasks of the new term.

Frankly analyzing the opportunities and challenges facing the Party Committee and people of Van Hien commune, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee suggested a number of directions that the congress needs to focus on discussing and agree on a specific action program for the 2025-2030 term.

In particular, it is necessary to continue to do well the work of Party building and rectification; consolidate the political system, build a contingent of cadres with qualifications and capacity equal to the task, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate and be creative, ensuring better service to the people.

Strengthening the expansion of foreign affairs and attracting investment; strengthening links with other communes and regions to expand development space, associated with research on new development models; promoting the application of science and technology, promoting the development of diverse and popular e-commerce, creating new development momentum.

Pay attention to comprehensive cultural and social development, improve the quality of education and training, ensure social security and welfare, especially for policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, poverty reduction, and primary health care for the people.

Propaganda and education to raise awareness and responsibility of the community, each household and each person on environmental protection, building a green - clean - beautiful landscape; improving material life and spiritual values ​​for the people on the basis of promoting core cultural values.

Fight and effectively handle complex issues of security and order, all types of crimes and social evils, not allowing "hot spots" to arise. Promote the movement of the entire people to protect national security, build a solid people's security posture associated with the national defense posture. Maximize the central role and subject of the people; consider each citizen as the "eyes and ears", an extended arm of the functional forces in detecting and fighting against violations of the law, maintaining peace in residential areas.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department Ho Le Ngoc also expressed his belief that with a long history of tradition, patriotism, solidarity and a strong desire to rise up, the Party Committee and people of Van Hien commune will continue to make efforts and firmly overcome all difficulties and challenges to fulfill the goal of building Van Hien commune to develop rapidly and sustainably, towards urban development, becoming a bright spot of the province in the coming term.
