Once a poor countryside, with dusty roads and muddy rains, Tan Son 6 hamlet (Van Hien commune) has now changed dramatically. The smooth asphalt roads connecting the Catholic hamlets are bright, green, clean and beautiful, the spacious houses are decorated with flags and flowers... all creating the appearance of a livable countryside. In this change, there is a contribution from parishioner Tran Ngoc Canh - Party cell secretary and hamlet chief of Tan Son 6 hamlet, and also a delegate of the People's Council of Van Hien commune - who is affectionately called "ambassador of the people's hearts" by the people because of his prestige and enthusiasm.
