The price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group at 133 - 135 million VND/tael (buy - sell). At the same time, the price of gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited - SJC and PNJ gold bars at 133 - 135 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 134 - 135 million VND/tael for buying and selling. The price of gold bars at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited was traded by the enterprise at 133 - 135 million VND/tael (buying and selling).

USD exchange rate today September 24: Slight decrease after a series of increases

As of 5:00 a.m. on September 24, the State Bank announced today's central exchange rate at 25,189 VND/USD, unchanged from the morning of September 23.

With the fluctuation range of ±5% as prescribed, the ceiling exchange rate is determined at 26,448 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate is 23,930 VND/USD.

At the State Bank of Vietnam, the reference exchange rate is currently at 23,980 VND/USD for buying and 26,398 VND/USD for selling.

At commercial banks at 5:00 a.m., the USD selling rate was stable at the ceiling price of 26,448 VND/USD. However, the buying price was adjusted to increase compared to the previous session, fluctuating from 26,198 to 26,233 VND/USD.

Specifically, Vietcombank raised the buying price to 26,198 VND/USD, VietinBank listed 26,233 VND/USD, BIDV at 26,228 VND/USD, Techcombank bought 26,220 VND/USD, Eximbank adjusted 26,210 VND/USD and Sacombank to 26,200 VND/USD. In general, the increase is between 10 and 30 VND, depending on the bank.

In the international market, the USD Index (DXY) - a tool measuring the strength of the greenback against a basket of major currencies - fell slightly to 97.20 at 5:00 a.m. Vietnam time. The USD therefore continued to depreciate against the euro and Swiss franc.

Pepper price today September 24, 2025: Mixed increase and decrease

Pepper prices today in key growing areas fluctuated compared to yesterday. Accordingly, the domestic pepper price level was from 147,000 VND/kg to 150,000 VND/kg.

In the Central Highlands region, pepper price today in Dak Lak is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Gia Lai is unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

Pepper price today in Lam Dong (old Dak Nong) decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently at 149,000 VND/kg.

In the Southeast region, pepper price today in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is currently at 150,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Dong Nai increased by 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday at 150,000 VND/kg.

In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) updated the prices of all types of pepper traded in the international market on September 24 (local time) as follows:

Indonesia’s Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $7,027 per tonne. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,957 per tonne.

Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600/mt.

Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,700/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price also remained unchanged from yesterday at $12,900/ton.

Prices of all types of Vietnamese pepper remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,600 USD/ton; 550 gr/l reached 6,800 USD/ton.

In addition, Vietnam's white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at 9,250 USD/ton.

Coffee price today September 24, 2025: Strong increase

Domestic coffee prices today, September 24, 2025, in the Central Highlands region increased sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 113,500 - 114,500 VND/kg.

Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 114,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 2,300 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 114,500 VND/kg, an increase of 2,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by VND2,200/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND114,000/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices increased by VND2,000/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND113,500/kg.

On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures contract for November 2025 delivery reached 4,218 USD/ton, down 1.45% (62 USD/ton) compared to yesterday. The contract for January 2026 delivery decreased 1.21% (51 USD/ton) to 4,177 USD/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 decreased by 2.77% (10.2 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 357.15 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in March 2026 decreased by 1.94% (6.8 US cents/pound), to 341.1 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 increased by 0.55% (2.4 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 441.5 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in December 2025 increased by 1.27% (5.5 US cents/pound) to 439.25 US cents/pound.

Oil price today September 24, 2025: Rising again

Brent crude oil rose $1.18, or 1.8%, to $67.75 a barrel on September 24. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil also rose $1.27, or 2%, to $63.55 a barrel. Both crudes recovered some of their previous losses after four consecutive sessions of losing about 3%.

Oil exports via pipeline from the Kurdistan region of Iraq to Türkiye have not yet resumed, despite earlier expectations of an agreement between the Iraqi central government, the Kurdistan regional government and oil and gas companies.

The two major producers are demanding debt guarantees before agreeing to restart pumping, a plan that would bring about 230,000 barrels a day of oil to the market that has been suspended since March 2023.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced new retail prices of gasoline and oil, effective from 3:00 p.m. on September 18. Specifically as follows:

- E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 230 VND, to a maximum of 19,986 VND/liter.

- RON95 gasoline price increased by 208 VND, reaching 20,608 VND/liter.

- E10 RON 95-III gasoline price increased sharply by 560 VND, reaching 20,600 VND/liter.

- Diesel oil increased by 62 VND to 18,705 VND/liter.

- Kerosene price increased by 176 VND to 18,544 VND/liter.

- Fuel oil price increased by 40 VND, to 15,130 VND/kg.

During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund.

Rubber price today September 24, 2025: Strong increase on Chinese exchange

In Singapore, the price of rubber futures for October 2025 decreased by 0.22% (0.4 USD/ton) compared to yesterday, to 171.5 USD/ton. The contract for November 2025 decreased by 1.6% (2.8 USD/ton) to 171.5 USD/ton.

At the opening of the trading session on September 24, in China, the October 2025 rubber futures price on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) increased by 0.51% (75 yuan) to 14,745 yuan/ton. The November 2025 rubber futures price increased by 0.2% (30 yuan) to 14,675 yuan/ton.
