As of 5:00 AM today, September 24, 2025, the price of gold bars in Vietnam has increased sharply by 1.4 million VND/ounce compared to yesterday. Specifically:
The price of SJC gold bars, as listed by DOJI Group, is 133-135 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price). At the same time, the price of gold bars listed by Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) and PNJ is also 133-135 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price).
Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 134 - 135 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, the price of gold bars was traded at 133 - 135 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).

USD exchange rate today, September 24th: Slightly lower after a series of gains.
As of 5:00 AM on September 24th, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate for today at 25,189 VND/USD, unchanged from the morning of September 23rd.
With a regulated fluctuation margin of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate is set at 26,448 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate at 23,930 VND/USD.
At the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor, the reference exchange rate is currently 23,980 VND/USD for buying and 26,398 VND/USD for selling.
At commercial banks at 5:00 AM, the selling rate of USD remained stable at the ceiling of 26,448 VND/USD. However, the buying rate had adjusted upwards compared to the previous session, fluctuating between 26,198 and 26,233 VND/USD.
Specifically, Vietcombank raised its buying price to 26,198 VND/USD, VietinBank listed it at 26,233 VND/USD, BIDV at 26,228 VND/USD, Techcombank bought at 26,220 VND/USD, Eximbank adjusted to 26,210 VND/USD, and Sacombank increased to 26,200 VND/USD. Overall, the increase ranged from 10 to 30 dong, depending on the bank.
On the international market, the USD Index (DXY) – a measure of the strength of the US dollar against a basket of major currencies – retreated slightly to 97.20 at 5:00 AM Vietnam time. The US dollar therefore continued to depreciate against the euro and the Swiss franc.
Pepper prices today, September 24, 2025: Mixed increases and decreases.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions showed mixed trends compared to yesterday. As a result, the average domestic pepper price ranged from 147,000 VND/kg to 150,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands region, today's pepper price in Dak Lak remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 150,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Gia Lai remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.
Today's pepper price in Lam Dong (formerly Dak Nong) decreased by 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently standing at 149,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, today's pepper price in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) is 150,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Dong Nai also saw an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 150,000 VND/kg.
Additionally, today's pepper price in Dong Nai (formerly Binh Phuoc) remains unchanged compared to yesterday, currently at 147,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on September 24th (local time) as follows:
Indonesian Lampung black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$7,027/tonne. Additionally, Muntok white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,957/tonne.
Brazilian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,600 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,700/tonne. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$12,900/tonne.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6,600 USD/ton; and the price of 550 gr/l is 6,800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,250 per ton.
Coffee prices today, September 24, 2025: A sharp increase.
Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands region today, September 24, 2025, increased sharply compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 113,500 and 114,500 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 114,500 VND/kg, a sharp increase of 2,300 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province is 114,500 VND/kg, an increase of 2,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province increased by 2,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday and are trading at 114,000 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee increased by 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 113,500 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee futures for November 2025 delivery reached $4218/tonne, down 1.45% ($62/tonne) from yesterday. The January 2026 futures contract fell 1.21% ($51/tonne) to $4177/tonne.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery fell 2.77% (10.2 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, to 357.15 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract fell 1.94% (6.8 US cents/pound), reaching 341.1 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 0.55% (2.4 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 441.5 US cents/pound. The December 2025 contract increased 1.27% (5.5 US cents/pound), reaching 439.25 US cents/pound.

Oil prices today, September 24, 2025: Rising again.
In trading on September 24th, Brent crude oil prices rose $1.18, or 1.8%, to $67.75 per barrel. US WTI crude also increased $1.27, or 2%, to $63.55 per barrel. Both types of oil recovered some of their earlier losses after four consecutive sessions of approximately 3% price drops.
Oil exports via pipeline from the Kurdistan region (Iraq) to Türkiye have not yet resumed, despite earlier hopes of an agreement between the Iraqi central government, the Kurdistan regional government, and oil companies.
The two major producers are demanding guarantees of debt payment before agreeing to resume pumping oil. This plan is expected to bring approximately 230,000 barrels of oil per day to market, a capacity that has been suspended since March 2023.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 18th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 230 VND, reaching a maximum of 19,986 VND/liter.
- The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 208 dong, reaching 20,608 dong/liter.
- The price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased sharply by 560 VND, reaching 20,600 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices increased by 62 dong to 18,705 dong/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 176 dong to 18,544 dong/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 40 dong, to 15,130 dong/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
Rubber prices today, September 24, 2025: Sharp increase on the Chinese market.
In Singapore, October 2025 rubber futures prices fell 0.22% ($0.4/tonne) compared to yesterday, to $171.5/tonne. November 2025 futures contracts fell 1.6% ($2.8/tonne), reaching $171.5/tonne.

At the opening of trading on September 24th in China, the price of October 2025 rubber futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) rose 0.51% (75 yuan) to 14,745 yuan/tonne. The price of November 2025 rubber futures increased 0.2% (30 yuan) to 14,675 yuan/tonne.

At the time of this survey, RSS3 prices on the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for November 2025 delivery were down 2.32% (7.4 Yen/kg) from yesterday, at 310.1 Yen/kg. The December 2025 contract fell 3.8% (12.1 Yen/kg), reaching 305.2 Yen/kg.

Cocoa prices today, September 24, 2025: Sharp decline across the board.
As of 5:00 AM on September 24, 2025, cocoa prices traded on the New York exchange for December 2025 delivery fell by 5.63% (US$419/ton) compared to yesterday, to US$7012/ton. The March 2026 contract decreased by 3.68% (US$270/ton), reaching US$7052/ton.

At the time of this survey, London cocoa prices for December 2025 delivery were down 0.19% (10 GBP/tonne) compared to yesterday, at 4896 GBP/tonne. The March 2026 contract was down 0.29% (15 GBP/tonne), reaching 4931 GBP/tonne.
