Cua Hoi fishing port used to be the largest fishing port in Nghe An province, a bustling hub for docking, unloading, and trading seafood for many large fishing vessels from Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, and Quang Ngai provinces. In recent years, despite an investment of over 100 billion VND for infrastructure upgrades, Cua Hoi fishing port has gradually fallen into a state of decline. The number of boats docking at the port has dwindled, causing concern among many small traders and fishermen.
