Will Ukraine benefit from 'spreading' the conflict into Russian territory?

Nearly 10 days of intense fighting have taken place in the Kursk hotspot – a border region of Russia. Ukraine's goal is to push the conflict into Russian territory, reversing the outcome. From Kursk, Kyiv could launch attacks on other parts of Russia.
