Approval of draft Resolution on merging and renaming hamlets in many localities

(Baonghean.vn) - At the regular meeting, the Provincial People's Committee approved the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on merging and renaming hamlets in communes in the districts of Anh Son, Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Nghia Dan and Vinh City.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the resolutions passed by the People's Council of Nghe An province, Nghe An has 173 blocks, hamlets, villages, and residential groups (hereinafter referred to as hamlets) in 16 districts, cities, and towns that have changed their names.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Council has approved Resolution No. 08/NQ-HDND on merging and renaming hamlets, blocks, villages, hamlets, and villages in communes, wards, and towns in districts. According to this Resolution, Dien Chau merged 294 hamlets into 141 hamlets, of which 18 hamlets changed their names.

Nghe An plans to merge 3,015 hamlets in 14 districts and towns, and 12 districts and towns have proposed to change hamlet names.
