Domestic pepper prices on March 16th fell to 142,500 – 144,500 VND/kg amidst the peak harvest season. Vietnam's export prices also recorded a decrease of 100 USD/ton.

Pepper prices today, January 4th, fell by up to 1,000 VND, raising market concerns about a poor harvest in the 2026 crop year.
On the morning of January 4th, domestic pepper prices retreated to 149,000 – 151,000 VND/kg. Despite the slight decrease, prices remain high amidst unfavorable weather conditions threatening the yield of the new harvest.
