Latest gasoline and diesel prices today

The fuel price list is continuously updated according to adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance. The data includes retail prices of popular petroleum products in Vietnam such as RON 95-III gasoline, E5 RON 92-II gasoline, diesel oil (DO), and kerosene (KO).

Common types of gasoline and diesel fuel in Vietnam

• RON 95-III gasoline– Unleaded gasoline has an octane rating of 95 and is commonly used in modern cars and motorcycles.
• E10 RON 95-III gasoline– Biofuel is a blend of 10% ethanol with an octane rating of 95.
• E5 RON 92-II gasoline– Biofuel blended with 5% ethanol, environmentally friendly, suitable for most motorcycles and cars.
• DO 0.05S-II oil– Diesel fuel is commonly used for trucks, buses, and heavy transport vehicles.
• DO oil 0.001SV– High-quality diesel fuel with extremely low sulfur content.
• KO oil– Kerosene, used in daily life and some industries.

Mechanism for adjusting gasoline and diesel prices in Vietnam.

Fuel prices in Vietnam are adjusted periodically by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance on the 1st, 11th, and 21st of each month, according to Decree 80/2023/ND-CP. Retail prices include value-added tax (VAT), environmental protection tax, special consumption tax, and contributions to the price stabilization fund.

Fuel prices are directly influenced by world crude oil prices (Brent, WTI), the USD/VND exchange rate, and domestic tax and fee policies.
