(Baonghean.vn) - The Ministry of Education and Training is proposing to draft a National Assembly Resolution to pilot universal preschool education for preschool children in a number of provinces and cities.

Nghe An has more than 100 kindergartens where parents are having to cook for their children themselves.

(Baonghean.vn) - This has been a reality for many years in schools in disadvantaged areas in Nghe An and has led to problems in the implementation process.
Preschool children are supported with lunch money equal to 10% of the basic salary/child/month.

Preschool children are supported by the State with lunch money equal to 10% of the basic salary/child/month (if they meet the prescribed conditions). The support period is calculated based on the actual number of school months, but not exceeding 9 months/school year.

Additional over 68.8 billion VND to support lunch money for children

The Ministry of Finance has just decided to temporarily allocate additional targeted funds from the central budget to 8 localities of over 68.6 billion VND to implement the policy of supporting lunch money for children aged 3-5 in 2014, according to the regulations in Decision No. 239/2010/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on Universal Preschool Education for the period 2010-2015.
