(Baonghean.vn) - The project to build N1 Canal, Lam Thinh Pumping Station in Thanh Duc Commune, Thanh Chuong District was built to irrigate 35 hectares of rice, but since the handover, the project has been abandoned and wasted for many years.

Domestic waste is dumped everywhere, causing pollution and clogging of the irrigation canal of Vuc Mau Lake.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to Hoang Mai Irrigation Enterprise, from 2021 to present, the situation of littering on the irrigation canal system from the upstream of Vuc Mau to the downstream communes has increased.
Quynh Luu farmers mobilize nearly 3,000 water pumps for summer-autumn production

(Baonghean.vn) - Located at the end of the Do Luong canal system, some communes in Quynh Luu district lack water for production. In order to promptly supply water for summer-autumn crop production, these days farmers have mobilized thousands of gasoline-powered pumps to pump water from canals, ditches, and low-lying areas; creating favorable conditions for machinery to plow the land and plant crops.

Vach Bac drainage canal and N18 irrigation canal are seriously encroached.

The Vach Bac Canal has the task of draining floods for 250 km2, draining water for over 3,000 hectares of agricultural land in the north, and is a flood control belt for 12,000 hectares of other agricultural land in the two districts of Yen Thanh and Dien Chau.
