Wild rice – A worry in the fields

Wild rice, also known as ghost rice, is a type of weed that originates from the same source as cultivated rice but does not yield or produce the desired quality. This weed spreads quickly, is difficult to control, and negatively impacts rice yield and quality. In recent years, wild rice has proliferated, becoming a major concern for many farmers.
