The Northern regions, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are forecast to have heavy to very heavy rain from the night of September 24 until the end of September 25.

With the news that super typhoon Ragasa, with a level 17 gust, is about to make landfall, causing widespread heavy rain, Nghe An farmers are entering an urgent "race": Some are busy harvesting agricultural products, others are reinforcing aquaculture, and building irrigation systems to prevent flooding. All are in the same mindset of "bracing" themselves against the harsh challenges of natural disasters.
Storm No. 9 with gusts of level 17 is entering the East Sea. From early morning on September 25, coastal areas from Quang Ninh to Thanh Hoa will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7.

According to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. on September 23, storm Ragasa was at level 17, about 860km from Loi Chau island.
