(Baonghean.vn) - On July 11, 1950, President Ho Chi Minh signed Decree No. 125/SL on the prevention and control of livestock diseases. This is one of the first important legal documents to serve as a basis for directing the organization and implementation of veterinary activities over a long period of time. To recognize and evaluate the importance of the veterinary industry, on July 12, 2005, the Prime Minister issued a Decision allowing July 11 to be annually observed as the "Traditional Day of the Veterinary Industry".
