On June 21, 2012, the National Assembly of Vietnam passed the Law of the Sea of Vietnam. This is a normal legislative activity to complete the legal framework of Vietnam, serving the use, management, protection of seas, islands and development of Vietnam's marine economy, creating favorable conditions for the process of international integration and strengthening cooperation with other countries, for peace and stability in the region and the world.
