"Sharing rice and clothes" to help the poor

During the recent Lunar New Year of Quy Ty, the border guards of Nghe An, in addition to their duty of maintaining peace for the people to enjoy the Spring Festival, also shared the hardships of the people in remote areas with meaningful gifts. The Nghe An Border Guard presented over 400 gifts to poor households, families with meritorious services, and families in difficult circumstances in the border areas. The total value of the gifts was over 120 million VND, taken from the savings of the Border Guard Command and the grassroots units. In addition, it also relied on the generosity and sharing of difficulties with the people of the officers and soldiers stationed in the border areas.
