In September 2025, Vietnam added 56,971 new cars, including 38,700 domestically assembled cars. Accumulated in 9 months: 338,400 domestic cars (+52.7%) and 156,092 imported cars (+24.8%); selling prices continue to be under pressure.

With sales reaching only 70,392 vehicles in the first quarter of 2023, a decrease of 22.2% over the same period, the Vietnamese auto market has lost its 4th position in the region.
