(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 10, Vinh University organized a national scientific conference "Training and fostering primary school teachers to meet the requirements of general education innovation in the current context".

The workshop was attended by delegates from the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders from many Departments of Education and Training, universities and pedagogical schools nationwide. Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Rector of Vinh University affirmed: The workshop is a practical and meaningful activity to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013, the 8th Conference, the Central Executive Committee of the Party (term XI) and Conclusion No. 51-KL/TW dated May 30, 2019 of the Central Secretariat of the Party on continuing to implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Conference (term XI) on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training.

At the same time, to improve the quality of training for primary school managers and teachers, meeting the 2018 General Education Program.

The Principal of Vinh University also said that in the context of innovation in the education sector, to improve the quality of education and training, it is necessary to first improve the quality of the teaching staff. In particular, it is even more meaningful for primary school teachers, because this is the starting level of primary education and the foundation for the next levels.

At this conference, the Organizing Committee of the National Conference "Training and fostering primary school teachers to meet the requirements of general education innovation in the current context" received 109 articles from experts, scientists from research institutes, universities, colleges, managers from the Ministry of Education and Training, Departments of Education and Training, Departments of Education and Training, and universities.

Besides, there are many articles by graduate students, postgraduate students, and students of pedagogical universities across the country.

The conference papers focused on three main areas: Development, evaluation and accreditation of primary school teacher training programs; Organization of training and professional capacity development for students in the field.Primary education; Training and using teachers to meet the requirements of general education innovation.

In addition, there are a number of articles that delve into the content, teaching techniques, and teaching organization of specific subjects at the primary level.

The workshop is held over 2 days and is an opportunity for delegates and representatives from pedagogical schools to exchange and share experiences.
