Nghe An: Highlights on June 14
The Provincial Party Secretary works in the UK; the Provincial People's Committee Chairman works to resolve difficulties in the Tho Loc Industrial Park Project and the Hoang Mai II Industrial Park Project; Nghe An proposes to add more than 6,500 teachers for the new school year. * June 13 (local time),Nghe An province delegationThe delegation led by Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation had a working session with the West London Chamber of Commerce (WLCC), UK.
At the meeting, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy said: On the basis of the strategic partnership between the two countries, in recent years, Nghe An province has actively implemented cooperative activities with British partners.
However, the cooperation between Nghe An and the UK is still modest. Regarding FDI, there are currently only 2 projects of British investors, with a total registered investment capital of 4.04 million USD.
Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy expressed his hope that through this, the West London Chamber of Commerce will help convey information about Nghe An province to the British business community, creating opportunities for businesses in the UK to explore cooperation and investment opportunities.
* On the morning of June 14, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting toremove obstacles and difficultiesduring the implementation of Tho Loc Industrial Park Project Phase I.
To ensure the progress of handing over the site to investors for project implementation, in the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Dien Chau district to continue focusing on and prioritizing site clearance for the Tho Loc Industrial Park Project Phase I.
Dien Chau district needs to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree and support to complete the approval of the compensation and site clearance plan for the entire project, trying to complete it before September 30, 2024; Pay people before October 15, hand over the entire project site before October 30, 2024.

In fact, compared to the staffing standards for teachers/class and students/class as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of educational career staff in Nghe An province is lacking 7,712 staff.
In preparation for the new school year 2024 - 2025, to ensure there are enough teachers in class according to regulations, the Provincial People's Committee proposed that the Ministry of Home Affairs supplement the province with 6,501 positions, of which 1,688 are for preschool, 2,692 are for primary, 1,795 are for secondary and 326 are for high school.
