Yen Thanh District Police dismantled a dog theft ring and arrested 3 suspects.
On June 14, Yen Thanh District Police announced that the unit had just successfully broken up a case, eliminated a dog theft ring, and arrested three suspects: Nguyen Van Dai (born 1976), Nguyen Van Le (born 1982) and Nguyen Van Cuong (born 1986), all residing in Hamlet 8, Cong Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District.
Previously, knowing the situation of dog theft in the area, through investigation, Yen Thanh District Police established a gang specializing in dog theft in the area and surrounding areas.

The subjects were assigned specific tasks, prepared tools and means, and committed crimes. More dangerously, the subjects also brought many dangerous weapons to be ready to fight back against the authorities and people when discovered in order to escape.
Through investigation and verification, the police determined that Nguyen Van Dai was the mastermind and manager of this group. Dai provided tools (electric shock, snake bags, tape, etc.) and motorbikes for the dog thieves.

Using synchronous professional measures, on June 14, Yen Thanh District Police arrested the above 3 subjects while they were selling dogs.
Seized evidence: 15 dogs weighing 203 kg, 1 motorbike, 1 dog theft basket, 2 swords, 3 dog cages and related evidence.
At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed that in addition to Yen Thanh district, they also stole dogs in Do Luong, Thanh Chuong and Nam Dan areas.
The case is currently under further investigation to be handled in accordance with the law. At the same time, Yen Thanh District Police have organized the return of property to the people who were robbed by the subjects.
