Following Typhoon No. 10, many localities experienced prolonged heavy rainfall causing flooding, with rising water levels submerging many residential areas, especially in low-lying areas of the former Yen Thanh district and Hoang Mai commune.

According to a report from Hop Minh commune, over 560 households in the commune have had their homes flooded. In Quan Thanh commune, four hamlets have also experienced flooding.
