Arrest of the subject who intentionally caused serious injury, injuring many people at Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital
On the morning of October 23, at Nghe An Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, an intentional act of causing serious injury occurred, injuring many people and causing chaos in the hospital area.
According to initial information, the incident occurred at around 10am the same day. Due to personal frustration, a man used a weapon to attack and injure many people and then barricaded himself in a hospital room.
Immediately after receiving the news, the police force quickly arrived, deployed professional measures, controlled and arrested the subject.
Up to now, the subject has been identified as Bang Van Vy (born 1996), from Bac Ninh, currently residing in Que Phong commune, Nghe An province. Currently, Vy has been controlled by the police force and taken to headquarters to serve the investigation, clarifying the cause of the incident.
The hospital's doctors and nurses promptly provided first aid to the injured victims. Order at Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital has been stabilized; medical examination and treatment are taking place normally.
