Police arrest a group of young men who used knives to assault people in Nghe An.
The police in Hop Minh commune (Nghe An province) have arrested three young men for using weapons to injure a local resident due to a personal conflict; another suspect is still at large.
On October 9th, the police in Hop Minh commune, Nghe An province, announced the arrest of a group of individuals involved in criminal activities.using weapons to inflict injuryfor the people.
According to the investigation, at approximately 2 PM on October 6, 2025, Mr. Tran Xuan Huong (born in 1972, residing in Hop Minh commune) was attacked by a group of four unknown young men using weapons, resulting in him being hospitalized for stitches. After committing the crime, the perpetrators quickly fled the scene.
Upon receiving the report, the Hop Minh Commune Police promptly verified, investigated, and identified suspects. By October 9th, the authorities had arrested three individuals: Thai Van Thiet (born in 2001, residing in Quan Thanh Commune), Pham Quoc Manh (born in 2007, residing in Yen Thanh District), and Hoang Nguyen Viet Danh (born in 2007, residing in Hop Minh Commune). One suspect is currently on the run.

At the police station, the suspects confessed that due to a conflict with Mr. Tran Xuan Huong's relatives, they had conspired to bring knives to "settle the matter." When they saw Mr. Huong arrive to mediate, the group violently used their weapons to injure him.
The seized items included two knives and two motorcycles that the suspects used when committing the crime.
Currently, the Hop Minh Commune Police are continuing to investigate and handle the case strictly according to the law, while also calling on the fugitive to surrender soon to receive leniency.
