Group of young men arrested for using knives to assault people in Nghe An
Hop Minh Commune Police (Nghe An Province) have just arrested three young men who used weapons to injure a local resident due to a personal conflict; another suspect is on the run.

According to the investigation, at around 2:00 p.m. on October 6, 2025, Mr. Tran Xuan Huong (born in 1972, residing in Hop Minh commune) was attacked by a group of four unknown young men with weapons, forcing him to be hospitalized for stitches. After committing the crime, the subjects quickly left the scene.
Upon receiving the report, Hop Minh Commune Police promptly verified, investigated and identified the suspect. By October 9, the police had arrested three suspects: Thai Van Thiet (born 2001, residing in Quan Thanh Commune), Pham Quoc Manh (born 2007, residing in Yen Thanh District) and Hoang Nguyen Viet Danh (born 2007, residing in Hop Minh Commune). The remaining suspect is currently on the run from the area.

At the police station, the suspects confessed that they had a conflict with Mr. Tran Xuan Huong’s relatives, so they brought knives to “settle the matter”. When they saw Mr. Huong coming to make peace, the group used weapons to injure him.
Confiscated evidence included two knives and two motorbikes used by the suspects in the crime.
Currently, Hop Minh Commune Police are continuing to investigate and strictly handle the case according to the law, and at the same time calling on the fugitive to surrender soon to enjoy leniency.
