Nghe An: Highlights of June 14th
This morning, June 14th, the National Conference on Training on the Organization and Operation of Party Organizations, Government, Fatherland Front, and Political Organizations at the (new) Commune Level was held online with 10,035 connection points nationwide and over 1.5 million delegates in attendance. In Nghe An, the conference was connected to 487 connection points at three levels (province, district and equivalent, and commune) with over 20,300 delegates participating.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - emphasized: The conference aims to contribute to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, of the Central Committee on "some issues regarding the continued reform and restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus to be streamlined, effective, and efficient," specifically concretizing Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025, of the 11th Conference of the 13th Central Committee of the Party, and the conclusions of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat on the restructuring of provincial-level administrative units, the elimination of district-level organizations, the merger of commune-level organizations, and the construction of a two-tiered local government organizational model, as well as the restructuring of political and social organizations, mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the new commune level.
* In his directive speech at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that this is a revolution in the organizational structure of the political system, therefore it requires determination, decisiveness, unity, synchronicity, simultaneous action, and solidarity.
"Revolutions always have advantages, but also many difficulties and obstacles. A time lag and adaptation period are necessary, so we shouldn't be perfectionists or hasty, but rather steadfast and persistent, learning from experience as we go and gradually expanding," the Prime Minister emphasized, adding that in this revolution, the Politburo has carefully determined each specific step, but when opportunities arise, we must move forward with even greater speed and boldness, while ensuring victory.
*Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Tien Hung emphasized,Regulation 296-QD/TWThe Central Committee's report on Party inspection, supervision, and discipline has inherited and integrated the Party's regulations and decisions on inspection, supervision, discipline, and control of assets and income, ensuring uniformity in implementation.
