* On the morning of January 19th,Preparatory meeting of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of VietnamThe congress took place at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. Attending the congress were 1,586 delegates representing over 5.6 million Party members. The delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee consisted of 33 delegates. Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, led the delegation.
