The youth of Nghe An province simultaneously held flag-raising ceremonies to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On the morning of January 19th, prior to the opening of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, hundreds of Youth Union branches throughout Nghe An province simultaneously held flag-raising ceremonies to welcome the Congress. In a solemn atmosphere, the flag-raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem demonstrated the faith, pride, and responsibility of the youth of Nghe An towards this important political event of the country.

According to Ho Phuc Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, this is a meaningful activity aimed at concretizing Plan No. 372-KH/TWĐTN-BTG dated May 9, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union on organizing activities to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and Document No. 7384-CV/TWĐTN-CTĐ dated December 31, 2025, of the Secretariat of the Central Youth Union on implementing propaganda for the Congress. The youth of Nghe An have responded enthusiastically and widely throughout the province.

Accordingly, at exactly 7:00 AM on January 19, 2026, flag-raising ceremonies will be simultaneously organized by Youth Union branches in localities, agencies, units, and schools throughout the province. Priority will be given to activities linked to "red addresses" (historical sites), ensuring solemnity and profound political significance.

The provincial-level flag-raising ceremony was organized by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union at Ho Chi Minh Square, with the participation of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, officials of the Provincial Youth Union, and outstanding youth union members; the union members wore the green uniform of the Vietnamese Youth Union.

In a solemn atmosphere, the flag-raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem demonstrated the faith, pride, and responsibility of the youth of Nghe An towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

At grassroots flag-raising ceremonies, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union in communes and wards, and affiliated Youth Union branches, organizes flag-raising ceremonies in accordance with actual conditions, ensuring uniformity in timing, rituals, and political significance.

The simultaneous flag-raising ceremony is a widespread political activity that contributes to educating revolutionary ideals, fostering the faith of Nghe An's youth in the Party's leadership, and arousing the pioneering spirit and responsibility of young people in the new stage of national development.

Youth in many units have integrated social welfare activities, visited and given gifts to policy beneficiaries; and commenced and inaugurated youth projects to celebrate the Congress.
