(Baonghean.vn) - Affected by the remnants of Typhoon No. 9, Nghe An province experienced heavy and prolonged rainfall in late October. Thanh Chuong district was particularly hard hit, with many communes experiencing severe flooding. Currently, the rain has stopped and the water is receding, but the most heavily flooded areas, including the lower communes of Thanh Long, Thanh Ha, Thanh Tung, Thanh Giang, Thanh Xuan, Thanh Lam, and Thanh Mai, remain extensively submerged.
