On the afternoon of September 5, Nghe An continued to issue an urgent notice on the operation and regulation of water at Nam Non Hydropower Reservoir (Xa Luong Commune, Tuong Duong District).

Many houses have cracks, at risk of being swept into the hydroelectric reservoir in Nghe An.

(Baonghean) - Since the Ban Ang hydropower plant came into operation, houses along the lake have started to crack one after another. Although the authorities have made plans to relocate them, the hydropower plant has remained indifferent and unconcerned.

(Baonghean.vn) - Since December 31, 2019, people living on both sides of Nam Non Hydropower Reservoir, in Luong Minh and Yen Na communes, reported to the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district that the water in the reservoir showed signs of odor pollution.
