Ministry of Health approves two Covid-19 vaccines for children

The Ministry of Health has approved Pfizer-BioNTech's Comirnaty vaccine and Modena's Spikevax for children aged 12-17, or grades 7 to 12.

Covid-19 vaccine for children is no different than that for adults

Adolescents aged 12 to 17 get the same dose of the Pfizer vaccine as adults, 30 micrograms, while children aged 5 to 11 get a third of the dose.
The government agreed to purchase nearly 20 million additional doses of Pfizer vaccine

The Government has just issued Resolution No. 90/NQ-CP on the additional purchase of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine BNT162.

About 50 million doses of Pfizer vaccine will arrive in Vietnam in the fourth quarter

Minister Nguyen Thanh Long said that in the fourth quarter, the number of Covid-19 vaccines will increase, with Pfizer alone receiving about 47-50 million doses.
