At the Central level, the third consultative conference organized by the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front unanimously voted to approve the preliminary list of 197 candidates for the 14th National Assembly from central agencies and organizations.

Preliminary synthesis in 63 provinces and cities nationwide shows that after the third consultative conference, provinces and cities had 735 people listed as candidates for the 14th National Assembly and 6,462 people listed as candidates for provincial People's Councils.

According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of provinces and cities, the conferences to collect opinions and trust from voters in the place of residence for candidates for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies were organized in a democratic, public, and procedural manner with the participation of a large number of voters.
