Research byUS News and World reportshows that income plays an important role in students' choice of university. Those from well-off families are not afraid to study far away compared to students from more difficult circumstances. According to research by the University of California (Los Angeles), about 56% of students tend to choose a school less than 100 miles from home.
If they want to study further or need money to cover living expenses, students and international students often work part-time. This creates opportunities for learning as well as a vibrant experience exchange environment, which is helpful for them when they do their internships. However, working early can make them neglect their studies.
