Just 10 hours after stealing the homeowner's motorbike, Le Dinh Dat was arrested 150 km away from the crime scene.

Earlier, on the morning of May 28th, the Quy Chau District Police (Nghe An province) received a report of a theft in the area. Mr. NKT (residing in Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district), the person who reported the incident, stated that his family's house had been broken into and their SH motorbike stolen.

Footage from the family's security camera shows that at approximately 2 AM, a young man wearing a light-colored T-shirt, a helmet, and a face mask climbed over the fence and entered the house via the second-floor balcony.

It is known that the camera, which NKL's family had pointed outwards towards the balcony, was turned inwards by the suspect, resulting in all of his actions being clearly recorded.

The video footage was extracted from the family's security camera. Video: Provided by the family.

After breaking into the house, the suspect, holding what appeared to be a knife, searched the entire house. After approximately 50 minutes, the suspect unlocked an SH motorbike parked inside the house and drove away from the scene.

Upon receiving the report, the Quy Chau District Police immediately identified the suspect and proceeded with the investigation.tracingAt 4:45 PM, the Quy Chau District Police successfully apprehended the suspect in the theft case, Le Dinh Dat (born in 2008), residing in Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was driving to Vinh City, 150 km away from the crime scene.

According to information from law enforcement agencies, during questioning, Le Dinh Dat admitted to breaking into Mr. NKL's house to steal property and transport it to southern provinces for sale. To avoid being tracked and apprehended, Dat removed the license plate to evade detection by authorities.

It is known that Dat's family situation is quite complicated; his father passed away early, and his mother does not have a fixed address. Dat himself does not have a stable job and has been repeatedly prosecuted by the Hanoi and Ha Tinh police for "theft of property".
