11 clubs participated in the Nghe Tinh folk song festival, cluster 1.
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 20th and 21st, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the Nghe Tinh Folk Song Festival, Cluster No. 1, 2016, in Nghi Loc district.
The Nghe Tinh folk song festival, cluster number 1, includes participation from Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh districts and Hoang Mai town, with the participation of 11 folk song clubs.

Participating in this year's Cluster 1 festival, the teams presented 33 performances, attracting a large audience who came to watch and cheer. The elaborately staged performances, along with skillful and graceful dance movements, contributed to reviving the traditional folk songs of the region, transporting viewers back to a bygone era – simple, familiar, and rich in national identity. Many performances of newly composed folk songs praising beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the Party, the renewal process, the socio-economic achievements of the locality, love for the homeland, and the cultural identity of each locality were also presented at this year's Cluster 1 festival.

At the end of the festival, Thanh Trung Club from Yen Thanh district won first prize. The organizing committee also awarded two second prizes, three third prizes, and five consolation prizes to the folk song clubs participating in the festival.
