Twelve women held hands as they crossed a stream; two were swept away.
According to information from the People's Committee of Phuc Son commune (Anh Son district), a tragic incident recently occurred in the area, resulting in two people being swept away by floodwaters.
According to reports, on the afternoon of July 19th, 12 women (all residing in Phuc Son commune) went into the forest area of Cao Veu village, Phuc Son commune, to plant acacia and eucalyptus trees for hire for a local resident.
Around 5:30 PM, they returned and discovered that the Veu stream had risen due to heavy rain. Seeing this, the group decided to hold hands and cross the stream in small groups. However, two people in the group at the back were swept away by the water.

The two people swept away by the water have been identified as Ms. HTL and Ms. D.TH.
With the coordinated efforts of local forces, by nearly noon on July 20th, authorities found the body of Ms. HTL more than 1 km from the accident site.
The search for the remaining victim is currently being carried out urgently.
