(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 10th, Vinh International Hospital, in collaboration with the Provincial Children's Protection Fund and Operation Smile, organized a humanitarian smile surgery program for disabled children.

The program aims to bring more bright smiles to underprivileged children with cleft lip and palate deformities; and at the same time...The aim is to connect and unite the community to help these children have a better future.

The program is giving meaningful gifts to underprivileged children with disabilities who are about to undergo cleft lip and palate surgery in this round.

From October 10th to 14th, 150 children from across the province will receive free examinations and surgeries for cleft lip and palate deformities at Vinh International Hospital.Patients also receive partial financial assistance for travel and meals during their hospital stay.

The Smile Surgery program will provide free examinations and surgeries for 150 children with cleft lip and palate deformities.

This is the second year that Vinh International Hospital has partnered with the Nghe An Children's Protection Fund and Operation Smile to carry out this charitable program.

Besides the Smile Surgery program for children with disabilities, in 2016, Vinh International Hospital also organized one of its charitable activities for the community: screening and surgery for motor skills for more than 40 children with various deformities of the limbs, and screening and surgery for congenital heart defects.

From 1994 to the present, the Provincial Children's Protection Fund has collaborated with medical organizations and units to perform surgery on over 2,000 children with cleft lip and palate deformities.
